I'm so glad I found this forum! My bf thought it would be wonderful to give me a puppy--which I wanted, but wasn't prepared for! I've been feeling very anxious and frustrated, wondering if I was doing the right things or not. I've been reading the threads, learning, and feeling much better.
So I'll introduce Stewie, my new Scottie. He's 10 weeks old and starting some puppy training classes this week. He's doing well with crate training and we're making headway with some stuff like sit, stay, and come. Any other Scottie owners, I'd love to hear your best tips!
Welcome newbies. Been raising dogs over forty years. In my opinion dogs are sort of like children (teenagers)with two extra legs and a lot more hair. Never a dull moment around them. Training is such fun ( most of the time) stay involved. Good luck!
Quality is not expensive, it's priceless. I love blues!
