Hi- I'm Sandy from Connecticut and I have a rescued dog Max who is 9 1/2 years old and 3 Persian kittens Allie-11 months, Bailey-9 months and Chelsea-5 months. I fell in love with my first Persian last June and got carried away adding kittens to my household. I found my breeder here on Terrificpets.com and she's been sucking me in with her beautiful babies ever since. I work in the medical insurance industry but please don't hate me for that. LOL

I'm in Phoenix, Arizona. We have 7 dogs and to many fish to count. We have 2 rotties, 1 pit, 2 pugs, and 2 mutts. The mutts are sharpei mix, and coyote mix (coydog). I also have a hubby and we have two teenage sons. I work in the medical field. I'd love to have a horse or two, and I'm currently convincing myself that I DO NOT need a norwich terrier or a mastiff. I used to breed and show rotties, but do neither now.

My name is Karri and I have been on TP for a while now.
I have 10 standard poodles, only 6 intact and one of them is a 9 month old puppy not in the breeding pool.
You all know me as the lady with the corded standard poodles.
Happy to be here and love the subjects that everyone brings up.

Hi, I'm Chelsea. I have the best puppy in the world , Cassidy (American Eskimo), I'm still in highschool (I can't wait to graduate!),and I live in VA. I want to be a horse//dog trainer someday, I don't want to go to collage (but I will if God lays on my heart the need to go), I'm a Christian and I love the Lord w/ all my heart!!

I've been a member for a little while, but really haven't introduced myself. I am 29 (not kidding) years old and I live in IL teaching 3rd and 4th grade special needs children. I have been married for 11 years, and am the proud mamma of two fur babies and one 9 year old son. Augie is a rat terrier/something mix that we got from a rescue about 4 years ago and Gracie is my almost two year old bullmastiff that runs the house whenever Alec, my son, allows her to.
I also wanted to send a THANK YOU to the mods and everyone one else on this forum for making life easier. I have learned a lot during my time on the forum, and hope to learn a ton more. Thanks for everyone who has helped and who will probably help in the future!!!

Hi, I'm J.J., retired jack of all trades. My wife Karin and I are the proud parents of 6 4 legged children, 3 dogs, 10 yo Sami a rescue Jindo,8 yo Sable a rescue Shiba Inu and 2 yo Itty Bitty Basenji, yeah, that's her name. My wife used to breed and show Basenji's years ago and when she first saw Bitty, she commented that she was the runtiest, ugliest Basenji she had ever seen and fell instantly in love with her.
Our other 3 are feline in nature, although somewhat confused as to whether they cats or dogs, our oldest is Yobo, 11yo Halloween cat, as the neighbor kids call her, imagine a totally black Siamese. The middle one is Tiger Lily, a 9 yo 'destructo cat', if she finds anything on a level surface, table, chair, kitchen counter, island she is compelled to push it to the floor. Last but not least is Sasquatch Cat, otherwise known as Big Foot or just plain Sassy she's going on 8. She and Sable, the Shiba, have adopted each other as litter mates, play together, sleep curled up together, the whole 9 yards.
The only other thing that can be said is that Karin told me years ago that if I had not been an animal lover she probably wouldnt have given me the time of day when we first met.

I'm Michelle from Iowa-33, married 15 years in June, and mom to 2 kids, two dogs (Tim & Sophie, Malamute & Pug, respectively) 4 goats, 8 cats and 2 hermit crabs-and as soon as my order comes in, 70 chickens, 7 ducks, 7 turkeys, 6 Guineas and 12 Geese! Trying our hand at the farming thing, though I suspect they will all end up as pets and the only thing on our table will be eggs...

My name is Rose and my husband is named John.We have 7 children,11 grandchildren and 1 great grand child.We have 2 adult Bullmastiffs'Jason and Amber and 2 five month old Bullmastiff pups,Ruby and Smudge, a soon to be neutered Chi,OREO, and a spayed Rat Terrier,Pepper, and 5 rescued cats,Buddha,Taffy,Patches, Mitz and Scaredy Cat{all spayed/neutered}. I do Bullmastiff rescue and have two rescues at this time, Peaches and Emily. We live in the great state of Michigan.We are retired and spend most of our time taking care of the fur kids and enjoying the grand and great grand skin kids.

i have been breeding Eng.Mastiffs for 15 years.The one constant in my life.very impressed with the diversity of this site.
English Mastiffs.True gentle giants.If people were only as trustworthy as these guys.

I just noticed this post. I live in west Texas and I'm 23 years old. I've loved dogs my whole life. I've read every thing about them I could get my hands since I learned to read. I currently have a male Rottweiler age 4, a male Maltese age 8, a male orange tabby age 7, and two female black and black and white kittens age 1. I bought Harley from a BYB and definately learned my lesson b/c he had parvo. He is the love of my life and super smart. He's definatly the "honor student" of the house. Bailey came from my local humane society. he was abondoned by his previous owners and I belive he was abused. He's really improved over the years. When he first came home he was fear aggressive, hated men, suffered from separation anxiety and was very possesive of me. He is now way more accepting of strangers and more independent. O.P. walked up to me in the front yard and jumped in my arms seven years ago and never left. He's definatley too smart for his own good. The kittens are littermates, I brought them home soon after I lost my beloved grandmother last June. They have been a great comfort and a much needed distraction. I also have two telescope eyed goldfish. I also love rock and counrty music, tattoos, and Harley Davidson anything. I would like to add a puppy to the gang in another year or two, but haven't really decided what kind.

Hey everyone, I have been on here since last year and just wanted to introduce myself and my family. My friends call me J, so since everyone here has been so friendly and helpful over the last few months just call me J. My husband and I have 3 fur kids. A 19 year old cat named Abe, who still thinks and acts like he is 2. A 10 year old German Shepherd named Roxy. And the baby of the family an 11 month old Labrador Retriever named Hunter. My husband had Abe and Roxy when we met, and I joke with him all the time and tell him that the used the kids to win my heart. LOL! We live in West Virginia. We have been married for 4 years. I am a 911 dispatcher and hubby works for the local hospital in the E.R. and as an ambulance driver.

We just got our first puppy and I found this site will looking for information about training and food among other things. Anyhow we have 2 cats, 1 fish and a new Boxer Puppy named Aegis (see my avatar) We got him at 8 weeks and he is 10 weeks old now.

We live in MN and are moving to a new house next week. Between packing and the puppy we are not getting much sleep. I look forward to reading more and thank everyone for the current information on this site.

Hi, i am the proud mother of 2 kids and my always loveing dog, Daisey. She is 5 1/2 months old, I got her at 6 weeks and she was is bad cond filled with round worms.( we are now healthy) And our latest prob was she went into a early heat,but we got over that too. I am a nurse and we live in S.C. and I have a wonderful hubbie.

My name is Kris. Peaches has been my nickname since I was about two-years-old. I love cats and currently have two three-month-old kittens, Wiggles and Stormie, who were named by my neice (she's four). I have a four-year-old son as well. I work in the casino industry and I love the craziness of it. My favorite part of the day is coming home to my babies, the one human one, and the furry ones!

My cat history includes ownership of 6 cats, and foster parenting too many orphaned kittens to keep track of since I was about 11 years-old. The youngest litter I ever raised was a group of 3 that opened their eyes three days after I got them. They all survived and were healthy adults in good homes when I last saw them. I have also fostered cats/kittens that have been abused or were injured in an attempts to "dispose of" them. I don't have time for that sort of thing anymore, but gosh I miss it!
I like most cats better than I like most people.
I'll try to be nicer if you try to be smarter.

Hi everyone, this may be a little late but never saw it last year. Have been on here a little over a year and to say it is a lifesaver is an understatement.

I am 66, live with hubby and right now just Rocky. He is a 19 mth old Puggle, we rescued a year ago March.

We live in Michigan and have four children three of whom have migrated to Tennessee and one in Austin TX, we have only 4 grandchildren, would have loved to have 10 or more not going to happen....

We have been owned over the years by Yorkies, kitties, fish, snakes, rabbits, frogs, mice, etc. You name it and I swear at one time or another it resided in our house.

TP members have a lot of collective knowledge that can be accessed by just a question. Everyone is eager to help. The mods are fantastic!!!

Be kinder than necessary because Everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle!

I live in N.C. and have about 10 dogs and 4 cats. Bridgett is my Chocolate poodle that will be 12 June 6. Happy Birthday to Bridgett. I breed Shih-Tzus and just had 2 litters totaling 9. Don't think I will have 2 litters that close together ever again. That was alot of work. I have a grooming shop at my home so that I can be with all my "children more." I am single now, have been divorced for 22 years. I have 1 son that is 24 and moved out on his own now and planning to get married next year to a wonderful girl. I used to get on the forum quite often but haven't been on in a while because I got tired of people putting others down so much. Hope things have changed.

Hello Everyone!!

I'm new and glad to find a place where everyone loves dogs!

I'm a mom and wife in Ohio with a Yellow Lab, Trouble, and Border Collie, Josey Wales. My dogs are a true joy to our family.

I run a small business, inspired by my Lab, Chubby Trubby's pet beds and pillows. I became discouraged a few years back when I realized there were few pet beds which gave my aging, arthritic dog support as he slept. A business was born!

I look forward to getting to know lots of other dog lovers.
