Hello! My names is Arily I have 2 boys my Yorkie Teddy(3)and my Long Hair Chihuahua Gizmo(2)! I have an online store you can guess what it sells lol and I stud my dogs on ocasions. I live in Jersey City and work in Manhattan. I love my dogs they are my heart I want to make new friends and talk about our babies! Nice to be apart of the family!
My name is Lauren. I live in the United States and have two other annoying sisters. I love to read, AIM, go on the computer, go to dances and adventure outside. I have a German Shepherd dog named Sophie. She is two. I have three cats. One is a gray long-haired cat named Cleo who is 18. Gypsy is a Hemmingway cat. Meaning that she has a thumb. Cool, huh? And best of all, we got her from a friend for free! They didn't even know how much she was worth, so they gave us her stuff and shipped her off. By the way, Gypsy is two years old. And the youngest cat, Mittens is an Orange and White Tabby Cat. She is a year old and has a "half mustache". That's what we call it. If you'd put a top hat on her, she'd be adorable! We just released a baby bunny who had a skin abrasion. We healed the cut, and as soon as she was healed, off she went! We had named her Gidget. I'm thinking of getting another rabbit from the pet store. Last but not least, my two fish Tangerine and Miko. Tangerine is a Longtail goldfish and Miko is a goldfish on the smaller side. Oh, and my favorite colors are purple and pink.
My name is Holly. I'm 32 years old (and I just had to use a calculator to figure that out because I couldn't remember if I was 31 or 32. I was hoping for 31 ). I live in Atlanta, GA with my man and my two children, ages 11 and 8.
Hi everyone. I'm totally new to TP. Found the site doing some reading on beagles.
I live in Puerto Rico. A dog lover since I can remember - have had dogs all my life. At one point we had 11. Two of our own (Negri & Tashi) and a litter of 8 from a pregnant stray we rescued from the street. Glad to say that 6 and the mom were adopted by great families. We kept two - Kirby (12) and Tristi (17) who provided us with great memories. To this day we still remember them very fondly.
I'm now the proud mom of the most beautiful beagle. Lucy who will be 1 tomorrow (happy birthday to her) has been with me since she was 8wks.

I don't have too many questions, and I don't feel like I know enough to give advice yet - I'll leave that to the pros Here is a slideshow of Buster that I need to add more pics to (need to take them first!): http://s22.photobucket.com/albums/b349/albumsintheattic/Buster/?action=viewĄt=bbbd7b72.pbw I am self employed, own my own business making custom photo albums and french memo boards. I'd put my website here but don't want to chance it. I actually have lots of requests for animal themed albums! I love that I can do something that I enjoy, and make a little $ at the same time.
About 2 years ago, we discovered the awesomeness of cruising, and just about all of our vacations since then have been cruises! We love it - the best way to go! We have another one booked for Sept of this year - 91 days to go.

I'm new to the board and I thought I'd take a few words to introduce myself. My OH and I live in South West Scotland.
I have 4 border collies:
Bob - rescued from a farm at 2.5yrs (he's now 10), he is smooth coated, mainly white with a touch of black. He is a very big dog but was kept in a tiny rabbit hutch before I got him. he is very nervous of noise, especially guns and thunder and is a huge big softie. Wag - resuced from a farm at 1yr (he's now 8.5), he is rough coated, mainly black with a touch of white. his names suits him, he never stops with the tail, he is a typical working dog and totally hyper and needs loads of exercise, him and Bob are inseperable. Garrie - resuced last year from a farmer who didn't like him and was going to put him to sleep, after physically abusing him and causing him damage to the hind legs by throwing him over a gate. Garrie is smooth coated even between black and white, and is dreadfully nervous but really wants to please. he lives out in a custom built dog run because he just doesn;t cope in the house. Archie - my only doggie purchase, bought as a puppy (to replace a horse I lost last year), he is now 11mths and seriously ill. he is a beautiful collie and is rough coated, and tr-coloured. He has been diagnosed with an auto immune disease which is being treated with steroids at the moment, but no one is sure yet what the prognosis is.
Rockie - an ex-racehorse, thoroughbred rescued a couple of months ago from a girl who was going to put him to sleep becasue she decided she didn't want him anymore.
Then there are the 9hens, 3 cockerels, and 5 ducks. Not to mention Buzz (a chincilla persian) and Tiggs (a tortoiseshell) - the house cats. And finally the pigeon that I saved a few weeks ago (it had been shot but not killed), and it nests in the garden and shares the chicken feed.
I am currently fostering 2 dogs that need to be placed into a loving home. I would keep them but I already have 9 other dogs that need my attention. We rescued them from a shelter that was closing down. We couldn't bare to leave them in such poor conditions, so we took them into our home. Both are really great dogs, very sweet and loving. They just want to be loved like anyone else. The first is a male shepherd/husky/red heeler mix and the other is a female pittbull/lab. Both are 2 years old. They are altered and are current on all vaccinations. If anyone can help them find a forever place please call me 202 281 9089. Thank you so much.

Hi, my name is Liz and I live in Va.I am a Teachers Aide at an Elementary school. My husband and I have been married 31 years and we have 3 kids ( 1 is deceased) and 3 grandkids. We have 2 dogs, Molly, a 3 yr. old Tri-color Beagle and Ivy, who is about 15 mos. old. We have had Molly from a puppy but we have only had Ivy, a Dachsund mix, for a year. She was set off here at our house, nearly starved and pitiful,we kept her and often talk about what a great day it was when she was tossed out beside the road. Great for us, because she is the most wonderful dog any one could have ever hoped for and great for her because she didn't know it was her best day ever because she and I fell in love that day and she is spoiled rotten. We also have 6 "grand dogs". My daughter has 4, Peanut, Koga, Fergie and Bruno ( who has also been saved from the shelter, she got him before he was sent) my son and his wife have 2, Jasmine and Weenie( who is a Dachsund rescue).

Hey I'm Jessica, New to the site. I actually found it looking for information on huskys. Haha! Currently living in Louisiana. I'm married and a soon to be first time mom. We are having a girl, due November 5th. We have a 9 or 10 month old Chocolate Lab/Pit Bull mix named Sunny (Sunshine Josephine Wilkins, don't ask haha!). She's gorgeous! She has what I love to call "eagle eyes" the golden eyes chocolate labs get. She's goofy and clumsy and protective and just happy happy all the time. She loves water, and once we move back to Minnesota (which is where I'm from by the way) we would love to bring her to the lake. We also have a 6 week old Siberian Husky puppy named Toki (toe-key), my husbands a fan of the cartoon metalocalypse. He has the most beautiful blue eyes, like the color of the ocean. I love dogs with strange eyes. We had 2 cats, one I swear was from heck and she made an escape we are still trying to figure out, she was just gone one morning and we never heard from her again. Our other Lola was born with feline lukemia and passed away before she turned a year old. We haven't replaced the cats since ya know, 2 puppies and a baby are going to be a handful! Thats about all the interesting facts about us!
Hi, I'm Joanne from Ohio. I have had cats and dogs my entire life. But as an adult, I have had three wonderful Chow Chows. Sheba , a red chow, was my first, she came along with the house we purchased from my father in law, he moved away, and was afraid she wasn't up to the heat in Texas. She was wonderful friend, and I still miss her dearly. We then resuced her grand-puppy, Snoopy, a black Chow, her owner had to move to an apartment, and Snoopy would have nothing to do with being inside, he loved to be outside. It was either we take him or he was going to a shelter. Knowing he would be hard to be adopted out, we took him in. He was a wonderful dog also. I know have a Cinnamon Chow, Bouncing Buddha Bear. I love him dearly. I found this site looking for info on luxating patella's. He has had both of his knees done, but recovered quickly. He is about a year old and 60 lbs. now, all of my Chows have had great personalities. I have learned a lot of info from this website, love it!
Hello Everyone, Well I am John, a sports photographer near Indy. I have a nice conglomeration of critters at the moment. The oldest at the moment is a soon to be 10 year old barn cat Hermy who is feeling left out at the moment. Then there is Cassie, part Rot, part Pitbull, beautiful dog, friendly with everyone, she's 2 1/2. Next is Gizmo, he's 9 months old part Pitbull and Char-pia overly friendly, rather play with the neighbor kids than another dog. Well the real mess comes next :) as the vet missed when Gizmo (Mr Hyper, makes Gremlin sounds so thats how he got his name) should be fixed, yeah, you get the picture....June 25th the following were born to Cassie and Gizmo: Bear, Bandit (looks like a racoon), Sugar (white), Oreo, Vic (v on his neck) and Slash, all female except Vic, poor guy is out numbered! Yesterday they got their first shots, the vet was impressed as they all had great weight. All got wormed although only one has had worms which is impressive according to the vet with 6 pups. The pups need homes, at this point I am trying to deal with them and tornado damage from May and it's taking it's toll on me, and on them too with all the noise and so forth. That will get worse soon as rebuilding half the house begins and building a new garage. Even their outside area is half of what it was due to damage from the tornado wiping out much of the dog kennel. Fortunately Cassie and Gizmo were in the house when it hit! These pups are beatuiful though, two take after their father Gizmo being Brindel, two mostly black with some white, then one, Bandit is brown with white face and black mask and finally Sugar, all white except black nose and very very light brown circle on one ear. The vet was impressed with their weight, always has been with my dogs as they always seem to grow like they are on miracle grow, but I feed them Purina Puppy Chow. Cassie was on it and she wound up 132lbs before getting pregnant, she lost a bunch of weight but is now putting it back on and filling out again. Gizmo is 80lbs and slim as a rail, he's a beatuiful Brindle with lots of neat brown stripeswith varying colors of brown. The pups have been a fun a fun experiance, and it's neat watching them grow and learn.....although Gizmo is teaching them some of his bad habits... gulp! JS
