Hello, Im Lindsay, and I would like to introduce my two puppy loves, My main man Binkie and my partner in crime Piper.
Binkie is my 1 Year old chihuahua (His birthday was just yesterday!) Piper is my 6 Month old Boston Terrier. Both of my pups are great companions and love the family. But you have to admit that 2 best buds are a Chi and a Boston !! Who would of guessed ?
Well from the looks of this place I think that my pups and I are really going to enjoy our stay. Cant wait to get to know all of you and your furry babiess !
Hello all, I'm Cass from Iowa. I'm a stay at home mom of 2 kids and two dogs...and a husband! Pit/boxer mix Payton 6yrs and a sheltie Calvin 3.5yrs. Small town/country living suits our busy family well. I've been reading posts for a while and figured it was time to join.
hi my name is ching, a high school chemistry teacher from the Philippines and i'm owned by a male mini pin named bojack. i live in a beach house where my ancestors used to live. i have an eleven year old daughter and she's owned by 10 more dogs we've either rescued or adopted strays. our place is more like a safe haven for dogs because they can have all the exercise they can get by running after birds that feeds on shells and tiny fishes when the tide is out. bojack is the 2nd mini pin that i bought after my husband and i separated and i found him to be more faithful and a much better companion than 'him'. he's actually the nephew of my very first mini pin who died of heat stroke after a day of running all over the beach with the much bigger dogs on a hot summer day. i didn't know back then that these little guys are sensitive regarding extreme weather conditions and i learned my lesson in the most painful way. i'm more careful now and i don't allow bojack to get too much exercise by regulating his time outdoors. he is the smallest of all the other dogs but he calls the shots most of the time probably because he's the only one who's allowed to stay inside the house and gets to sleep in an airconditioned room!
My name is Rochelle and I am an elementary teacher. I live in Temperance, Michigan (literally 1/2 a mile out of Ohio) with my husband of 7 years and my soon to be three year old son. We have a cat named Scooby-Doo who is going to be 14 this August. We had a Chocolate Lab for twelve years whom we loved very much. Hunter had to be put down in November of 2007 because he had a tumor in his lung. He lived a good long life though full of treats, bird hunting, swimming, running, and he got to meet our son. It was one of the saddest moments of my life (we both stayed in the room with him until the end) and I swore at the time that I would never own a dog again. It has been 1 1/2 years now and we have now moved into a house with an acre of land perfect for a dog. Our son loves to play with the cat but I must say the cat does not enjoy playing with him as much (do you really blame him? - he is getting up there). We also miss having a dog, as we loved Hunt so much. Long story short we are soon to be proud parents of a new lab (Roxy) that we are buying for our son's third birthday. We went with a lab because we love their spirit, their loyalty and of course my husband likes to retrieving ability. We chose yellow and a female this time so that we will not constantly be reminded of Hunt too much (although I think of him at least once a day
My name is Heather and I live in NH with my Hubby, 4yo Son, 1 aloof calico cat and 2 Great Danes. I'm a SAHM and spend my days outside as much as I can, if that isn't possible then I'm crocheting or knitting.
If my dogs don't like you, then maybe you should walk away.
Hello, my name is Torri. I live in Henderson, NV a suburb of Las Vegas. I have 3 dogs. Tug is a one year old American Bulldog, Chicha a 5 year old Chiweenie and recently aquired Samson, an AKC registered Dogue de Bordeux. They supply an endless supply of entertainment as well as messes in my home. Along with my dogs I have 3 children still at home, a 19 year old son, a 14 year old daughter and a 10 year old daughter. They also supply an endless supply of entertainment and messes in my home. I'm new here and new to owning a purebred dog. Any advice is helpful. Thanx

I'm originally from Boston but now live in the Washington, DC metro area where I work in marketing/pr. I grew up with two cats, and am currently pet-less :( but not for long! Sometime soon I would like to have a Dachshund. Not quite ready yet (apartment living) but I'm doing my research now. I do some work with Chicken Soup dog+cat food and if I am able to get some samples, I'll be sure to let you all know. Lastly, my profile picture is of my neighbor's dog (which I secretly want) earlier this summer--isn't it adorable with the green polo shirt!
A big Texas size wave to all from the lone star state. I'm a mom of a fourteen year old and Pyromom for me it's the apple don't fall far from the tree as I worry about my son and his going to school. I'm divorced from his dad and luckily I am married to a wonderful man who allows me to have my seven cats and five dogs lol and my humming birds.
I have three females one's a dash and she's four and I have a Manchester/Minpin and she's four and my dearly beloved Tiffany is my pregnant momma I'm currently worried about as I don't usually think of breeding dogs but she did this on her own.
I have two boys that are close in age . one of them I think is maybe three and he's a rat terrier and sometimes a total terror lol. The other one is almost two and he's a dash/bassett. I do have two blood hounds that are a pair and they are lovable but I can't keep them because they were not only my husand's wish to have for the safety of the garden but the female blood hound killed a kitten I have been nursing to stay alive and a full grown beautiful white cat with a sandy color in his fur with blue eyes. Gosh they were both gorgeous. But when she did that I told my great husband that his female blood hound had to go. I can't have murderers on property :(.
We've been having troubles finding them a place to go as you can't find one a home and not send the other with it. People won't take them without the papers as they didn't have papers when we found them on the net. The man that found them couldn't keep them and we tried to give them a home and now this. I'm also glad that my other dogs love the cats as there will be more because we want to have a cat habitat. For cats who are loosing love and care and a home. I hope we succeed. I wish I wasn't so frantic about tiffany.

Hi! My name is Tori, I am married and live in Colorado. I currently have a cat, Figaro, who thinks he needs to be the center of my attention every minute of the day if he so desires. He's got a hilarious personality and is 6 years old. March 30 my 4 month old yellow lab Tobey passed away due to a very rare birth defect that caused his gal bladder to burst. My husband and I were devestated to lose our boy so early. Our vet assured us we could have done nothing to change his outcome, in fact she was very surprised he lived as long as he did. She also confirmed the problem had absolutely nothing to do with his breeding. I phoned the breeder to notify him of what had happened, and told him when the time came I would like to get another puppy from him. Now here I am anxiously awaiting Novmber 13 to pick up the new addition to our family. I'm driving myself crazy looking at pictures and reading stories of people and their pets, but can't wait until the time I can post some of my own!!
Hi, I'm Pam, I live on a small farm. With my husband Don and T.J. our rescue dauchshund,Who can't understand why we treat him like a dog sometimes, because heck after all he let's us sit on the couch.. our two Purebred AKC Labradore Retriever females "Frankie" and "Pearl" and Charlie our rescued Choc. Lab retriever. We love those two breeds. But love all dogs really. We have boer goats, chickens, one little pig ,"Piggie", who loves the labs, three shetland ponies and two rescue horses. We love to load the labs and T.J. up in the truck and go for a ride, or take the girls on long walks hunting squirrels and jackrabbits to chase. When the grandchildren come for a visit it's a three ring circus! but we love it.
