im sure a lot of you already figured this out but... my dog is like a little baby he has so many toys, bones everything all over the floor. i hate stepping on the bones and stuff so i got him a really big basket to put all his toys in, in the living room. it works so good im trying to teach him to clean up but.. i dont no if its going to work. at first he didnt like it. he took all of them out everytime i put them in the box he tipped it over but now it works and i thought it was an awesome idea.
My first corgi came home and immeaditely found the cat toy box, and decided it was his! Same with Dora! We are trying to teach Albie to put his toys back in the box, but he really just doesn't get the "bring" aspect of fetch. He will run to get a toy and pick it up, and when we try to call him back with it, he drops it and runs back to us. Maybe we will have more luck with Dora!
My wife "bought" a toy box for $129.99 made from an old wine box. It's wooden and heavy, actually looks good along the wall of our home. A little too luxurious for me as I would have just used a cardboard box. But now I like it.
My dogs all look for certain toys and scatter them everywhere, but then when I say, "Put your mess in the box," they would pick them up and place them somewhat close to the box. Maybe one or two in it, but I would eventually have go and pick them up. I think it can be and will be done.
i thought it was the cutest idea. cody doesnt really like them in there though he takes most of them out, or dumps the basket over. but o we'll iv hurt my foot on so meny of those bones and pigs ears and my mother brings him a new toy everytime she visits hes got more toys then i did when i was little it seems like lol.
