i have 3 pit bull puppies,a 9 month male (Bogie),a 7 month male (Tyson),and a 6 month old female (Kaos). we went to tradeday wednesday so i took Bogie, which i didnt think would be a problem. well everytime somebody would try to pet him he would growl. i have been looking for a muzzle for Bogie online. would it be okay to take him places with a muzzle on or should i just leave him home?

Dog has a social problem. Get him some training or leave him at home. Next time he might do more than growl. A muzzle is not a fix. Some dogs never get beyond this attitude. Good luck. I'd be interested to know what happens with this.
Quality is not expensive, it's priceless. I love blues!
Does he also growl at home when you pet him and talk sweet to him? My friend's dog, Bundy, makes a very scary growling noise when he is super-happy and getting attention. It scares people until they get to know him and know that it is how he expresses pleasure.

Wow you have a houseful! Have you owned the breed before?
Human aggression in APBTs is not to be tolerated at all. I would have a behavior eval done on this dog and speak to a trainer. Until you do that please do not bring this dog around in public
It may be something the dog can be worked through if not and the dog is truly human aggressive you should seriously consider putting him down. That may seem harsh to those of you who don't know the breed but with APBTs they are supposed to be extremely people friendly and tolerant and have absolutely no human aggression.
