It is starting to get warm down here so the fleas are going to start coming out soon. I used Frontline last year and It didnt work very well.Should I try it again or go for another brand. If so what brands are best to use? Then What Heartworm prevention is best. Kane had Heartworms 2yrs ago.So I need to be very careful to give it to him on time. What is everybody's favorite products.
If we ban Pit Bulls and Rottweilers are humans some dont like next ?
I started using Promeris since January and am very happy with the results. Yet, I live in Michigan and the snow and ice is just starting to melt so I am waiting to see the effectiveness of it when my dogs start to run through the 250 acred forest and 40 acre field. I kind like the eucalyptus smell to it when you put it on, it goes away in a day though. When I first put it on, I looked at my wife and said "It's like a Lacoste cologne but for dogs... It's FAB-Bu-LUS." As for heart worm med, Interceptor.
I would try Revolution. Thats what my parents always used on our cats and we never had fleas. I am planning on using it for our dogs. It protects agains, fleas, ticks, Mange and I belive worms to. If anybody ever used this tell me how good it is.
Revolution protects against fleas, the american dog tick, heartworm, ear mites and sarcoptic mange. You still need something else for other potential worm issues at least once in a while, and if you live in tick country another product to protect against deer ticks, as they aren't covered by revolution.
We use advantix while traveling to places with ticks. We haven't had a flea issue in a while, if we did we'd actually use the advantix every 6 weeks.
