Hi everyone. I know that this is gross, but, it's cat "medical" questions, so grossness is kind of a given... Anyhow, here's the issue. I have an 8 year old female longhaired cat (purebred, I think, Norweigen Forest Cat,) who is having "poop problems..." Diarrehea... I feed her wet/dry food, but ever since she starting having issues, I've been feeding her just dry, with only a tiny bit of wet (because otherwise she won't eat.) Even though she's eating dry now, she's STILL having problems. I'm really confused, because she has no other symptoms other than this. Any help??
If I said anything wrong, it's because my tongue got in the way of my eye-tooth and I couldn't see what I was saying.
The site below is really great. You just type in a search like "cat diarrhea" and a bunch of articles comes up. I have pet insurance and I think they sponsor the site because I get daily emails with cat tips and info ever since I got the insurance policy. http://www.petplace.com/search.aspx?c=0&q=cat+diarrhea&x=29&y=12 PS. you have my sympathy. Diarrhea on a long haired cat is a messy affair. I have given my share of butt baths with 3 long haired kitties and the occasional tummy upset.
