Lately I've been searching the web to find the best dog food for my pit bull. I went to petsmart and want to go to the local feed stores to see what they tell me. Does anybody have any recommendations? Thanks!
Go to my website and learn how to compare dog food. I distribute Life's Abundance pet foods because of the research I've done and the changes it made in my own dogs -- www.mybestfriendsbowl.com -- Cheryl Harrison
Innova Evo RM is a great food and def. my 1st choice in kibble. All of my APBT's are on it, it's a bit pricey but in my opinion worth every penny! The raw diet is one of the best, I myself do not feed raw but hae many close friends who do and def. swear by it. Canidae has recently switched to being manufactured by Diamond, I would be hesitant to go that route.
I have bull terriers and have fed just about everything to my show dogs and to the rescues I foster (mostly with good results). I currently feed California Natural, Innova, Innova EVO, Healthwise, or just about anything made by Natura Pet. There are a lot of really good kibbles out there, you just have to find one that is convenient for you, healthy for your pet, and one that your pet will eat!! One of my finicky dogs only eats small bites (he's 60 lbs)! A raw diet is good (EVO kibble), but I just don't have the time to do it, nor can I stomach the smell of the packaged raw. I supplement with meat and veggies at times, but we are on the road often for dog shows and kibble is just so much easier. There seems to be a lot of good advice on this subject, so find one of these suggestions that works for you!
