i wanted to try a hanrnest on my cat to take him out side he was an out side cat but he some how broke his leg and they had to put a pin in it and i dont wanna risk letting him out and somthing getting him because he has a little limp but i feel bad because he's always looking out side. hes like 2 and a half and only have had a flee colar on .. any one think hed like being walked? or could get out of it.
we have a lady who brings her cat in for grooming in a stroller. He always seems to be stressed out, but that is probably becuase of where he is going. I personally would be leary, most cats I knew (allergic now) didn't really like things moving underneth them. I would keep working with the harness, and practice in the house before taking him out side. good luck
I know it isn't made for cats, but my daughters have 2 strollers for their baby dolls. The cats love to go for rides. They will climb up in the strollers and meow waiting on the girls to take them for a ride. I won't let them take it outside b/c they are indoor cats. I would be afraid of them getting loose. I think if you start them out early, they will adapt. My 2 cats have been in them since they were kittens. They are now 2 and love it...
It seems to me that a cat stoller would defeat the purpose of taking a cat outside. What's the point of taking kitty outside if they can't walk around in the fresh air? I recommend a harness or collar designed for cats, and I agree with the practicing indoors first to help kitty adjust to it in a safe environment. Also, you may want to talk to a vet or trained sales associate to make sure the harness or collar fits correctly.
My neighbor does cat rescue and he built an outdoor run for the cats to go into. It is a chainlink dog run that has a top on it so the cats can't climb out. Steve built ramps and platforms and boxes for the cats to play hide and seek. We live in the country and have a lot of hawks circling, but the cats are safe in the pen.
that cat run sounds neat-i've seen a pic of a walkway for cats-it led from the house to a shed (i think) where the cats had their litterboxes. it was large enough for the cats to lay around in. very clever.
