Hey, it's Ashley.

Has anyone heard of therpeutic riding, and I wanted to know... if there's any place near where I live down here. I live in Florida. So, I'm new to this whole volunteer thing, but I need to find a good place. How would I search it???

My friends are crazy, but I still love them. A true friend is hard to forget, and impossible to leave, Music and Movies are in me, but are movies and music in you.

I'm afraid I don't know how you can find a group to volunteer, but I do know they do exist. I was in one while I was getting medical treatment for a closed head injury from a car crash, but I'm up north in Rochester(founder of Kodak) and while I have been to FL, i don't know anything about your farms. sorry.

they definately exist. Im not sure how you would find them, but you might try your resources for adults with disabilities. If there is a stables in your area they would definately know. good luck!

I cant point you in any direction where you live I just wanted to say I have an ex therapeutic riding horse (desiray) weve had her for 6 years and shes the best horse in the world very patient good luck finding a school though

cats humor us because they know there ancesters ate ours!

I have volunteered with several programs, and I am starting a program at my barn, however I am not anywhere near you so I am not much help.

Local feed stores and area barns would have an idea of some in your area, you can also seach online.

Hi there - it's called hippotherapy. Try a search on "hippotherapy florida" or even "hippotherapy orlando" or whatever city you are in/near.

We did marketing several years ago for a hippotherapy group - thats how I learned about it. I believe they were usually excited for new volunteers.
