I am not really sure how old she is ,But I am kind of sure this is her first time being pregnant. I am concerned with the fact that I have no idea when she will have them. Does anyone know what to look for, and how long do they stay pregnant ? I thought 63 days, but I was told 53 days . Which is true ? And how can I tell. You can send me private messages if you like.

FYI - a full term pregnancy for cats is 9 weeks. The only reason I can remember is because humans are 9 months, cats are 9 weeks. The best way to tell when she is getting ready to have the kittens is to keep an eye on her teats. They will start "pinking up" and will become swollen around them as the mother cats mammary glands begin to fill. Also watch for "nesting" behavior, which for cats usually involves looking for and preparing an are kitty feels is suitable and safe for her to have her babies. But I agree that you definately need to get momma cat to a vet ASAP to get her checked out and make sure all is well.
