Get her to the vet ASAP. She may require a c-section, which is the norm for this breed. Bulldogs need to be carefully monitored during pregnancy and whelping. Contact a vet before she goes into labor and runs into trouble.
Is it just me, or are we getting a lot of the same kinds of posts? 'My dog is 56 days pregnant, how do I tell if she's in labour?' Or my favourite one, 'My dog won't come out from under the bed' Geeez. I guess people just don't realize the importance of research, and the amount you need to know in order to breed dogs. Not only are they breeding the dogs, they are picking the high-risk for sections, etc. To the OP, if you hav'nt got a puppy count yet, go to the vet and get one. Did your dam come from a free whelping dam, and how much bigger than your female is your male? The vet will hopefully give you an elective c-section, with any luck. Good luck to all.
