Just now as I was reading through some topics, Isis jumped up on the desk sat directly infront of my face, licked my nose then hopped back off the desk and walked away. It's the little things she does that make me think that she does care in her own little feline way.
I used to have a wonderful cat. One day this absolutly georgous Siamese cat with the prettiest blue eyes I have ever seen walked up the driveway, through the open door to the house, into the house and continued into the bedroom. He climbed up on the bed, schooched into a comfortable spot, and promptly fell asleep on my pillow. When I had the 'gall' to disturb him, he calmly licked a paw and gave me this "don't you have something better to be doing'' look that he became infamous for. I dubbed him "Mr. Kitty Kat- you may call me Sir." Long name, but so well earned. He was constantly doing things just like that- he would ignore you for a week, then out of the blue you would wake up to him licking your nose. After which he would promptly walk away and never look back. I used to call it fly-by love. (ref: top gun, where they did high speed fly bys on the towers). Cats are most assuredly my preference. Their regal manner always makes me chuckle.
