I am wondering if there is something that I could do for my male and female. My female is accepting now. The problem that we seem to have is that our male stands a bit back when he is trying to "do his natural thing". Is there something that I could do to help him get to where they would be able to tie? Please let me know what to do with them!

Well, we may never know for sure, but...I have a terrible feeling she may be trying to breed an approximently 8 month old, bow-legged male, to a line-bred female who may or may not be related, and who may or may not even meet breed standard. I'm guessing neither one has had OFA or PennHip testing done. I'd be willing to bet neither dog has ever been shown or has ever participated in a hunt or field trial. And I'm also quite sure she is doing this purely for the money, with little concern for the quality of the pups from this litter. And if that's not the case, I am truly curious as to what the results of the testing were, and what qualities you are trying to bring out by mating these 2 dogs.
