Hello all...

I just got a puppy this evening (from a friend) I have fallen for this dog! she is a 6 week old old english bulldog. so sweet. Anyways... she is currently on purina puppy chow, and has been for a little while. well..i took her out to go potty and she went number 2. but when she went it was like a yellow mustardy color...is this normal?

Take her to the vet. She is a little young to be away from her momma and you should have her examined just to make sure that everything is ok anyway.

The yellow poop could be a number of things - some very serious (Parvo) and some not-so-serious (stress of new environment). Either way - at least a call to the vet is in order.

I found that Purina Puppy chow puts bad weight on dogs and EB's should have their diet carefully monitored because they tend to put weight on quickly. Try something of a better quality.

There are a ton of EB owners on here. Hopefully they can recommend a good food. If not, ask your vet about that too.
