Hello everyone. I am new to the site so will tell you a bit about myself and my "family". First I will say that I am married to the most understanding man I have ever met.We have raised two children to adulthood..no easy task. My mother tells me I was born with a pet treat in one hand and a lead in the other.I became an active member of "Companion Pets" in the early 70's.I continue to educate myself and others at the novice level.I have always enjoyed the company of animals and people (pretty much in that order)my entire life.I have been blessed with the opportunity to rescue several creatures over these last years..Newfoundlands being my favorite breed. My husband and I share our home with three of these gentle giants. We also have five cats, two bearded dragon lizards, and several tanks of fish. These are our personal pets. This is by no means my job..but my passion. I hope to make some new friends, learn some new things and share some of my stories with the world. long post..lol Rose
