For all of those who shared their insights on the religious debate, Thank you. I never meant for it to turn into a mud-slinging brawl, but C'es la vie, I suppose. I think we can all learn a valuable lesson from the thread.
All humans judge to a certain extent. It is our nature and part of our survival. It is how we choose our friends, who we should avoid, and who we love.
Even two people of the same religion can have very different beliefs. We should all take each others comments at face value and not pick them apart relentlessly or we will only anger and frustrate one another.
No good will ever come from quoting someone out of context.
Words and sentences have different connotations to each person that reads them.
Without our Mods some threads would spin completely out of control.
And, finally, we are all human and therefore flawed. I enjoy posting with all of you, even those I strongly disagree with. I hope you all feel the same. Never forget how lucky we are to have a common ground to anonamously share our views, stories, and opinions.
I like most cats better than I like most people. I'll try to be nicer if you try to be smarter.
