An Eastcoast breeder sold me a pup in 2005. He never sent me the papers. I've lost the breeders contact info. Is there any way for me to track down the breeder by region & either retrieve the papers, or determine her pedigree/lineage? I'd like for her to be registered & to know her lineage. Thanks in advance for any tips!
If you have the breeder's name and the registry he used, you could try that. Odds are if the dogs were registered, he would have given you the papers when you got your dog. Good Luck and let us know what happens!
I have wondered this too. Manson was given to me by a friend, and I wasn't worried about his papers because I'm not going to breed or show. But it would be interesting to see them just for the fun of it. I have seen them but not paid any attention as he wasn't my dog at the time. They kept the papers at my friend's husband's tattoo shop with a bunch of other documents, and he has since gone to jail and lost everything that was in there.
I wonder if knowing the owner's name who he was registered to and his AKC name "Pretty Boy Manson" would be enough to get a copy of his pedigree?
