Can anyone advise me regarding my Rottweiler's bowel movements. My Rotti is 6 years only and displayed bowel movement problems where it would take 3-5 movements with only a small amount being excreted each time. He was also dripping urine constantly. The vet did a few tests and took x-rays and found that he had a prostrate problem. My Rotti was placed on female hormones for a few weeks but that proved fruitless.
In May the vet suggested neutering which we did. However, he is still displaying the same behaviour when he has a bowel movement, though there is no blood in his stool as there was before the neutering. He is also still frisky with my female who is spayed.
