yes she has had her first deworming. She goes back this week. It's actually better than it was...she was in horrible shape when I got her.thanks for the guesses. The place that I got her from thought they were retriever mixes. She is the runt but aren't most retriever's a lot bigger at 5 weeks? She may be part chihuahua but her ears are definately way smaller than a chihuhua's and I don't think chihuahua's are capable of having a litter of 6.Also, some friends think they might be part pit...anyone agree?
she had just been dropped off along with her littermates at a humane society. They had them in a pen with fleas covering every inch of them.Believe me, I agree she should be with her mother but for some reason she wasn't.I took her to save her life.If you're trying to be rude please don't respond to my posts.thanks.
I'm not trying to be rude. I'm just asking a question-is that not allowed? However, if you want me to be rude....I find it very unusual that a "humane society" would adopt a pup this young, no matter the circumstances. Most animal rescues will place a litter like this in a foster home with someone who knows how to raise abandoned pups until they are actually old enough to be adopted.
jshields, I would say there's about a 0 chance that she has any Pittie or Retriever in her. Those breeds are bigger than her now when they're born. I stick to Chi and JRT, possibly another small terrier, but certainly not a large breed dog. You can tell by her bone and features that she's a smaller breed mix. She's so cute.
thanks!she kind of looks like some french bulldog puppies that I found on the internet but with different coloring. My boyfriend is going to kill me by the way if she stays really little(he wanted a big dog).Oh well!I'll love her no matter what size she is.
LMAO! Sorry-you are WAY off in your assessment! Let's just say I'm uncommonly devoted to animals, and the ignorance of some people out there irritates the he** out of me. If you stick around longer than 3 days, you'll see what I mean.
