I have just gotten my first Ball Python and have feed him his first meal since getting him. I noticed he did the correct strike and kill but then he worked his way down and took the mouse tail first will this cause any problems as anything I have read has always said about the snake eating the mouse from head first.
I have a Ball Python. My snake has never done that but snakes are weird. Once the snake killed both mice, dropped them in this water, ate one then left the other one in their. I don't think that eating him backwards will affect him.
Zacky Vengeance and Synyster Gates are the two hottest people in the world!!!
They eat head-first so the prey is easier to swallow. The legs fold back naturally that way and make the mouse into a more streamlined shape. If the snake was able to swallow it there is no problem with how it swallowed it.
