how do you teach stay for a puppy? I have taught her to sit, give paw and down but stay is proving hard for me anyone have ideas thanks (oh she is 31/2 month) we are also still working on walking on leash she likes to run so she pulls alot any ideas for that also.

what i did for my puppy was (and it was easier if she was in the "down" command) say "stay" and then wait for a sec and then praise. then do it again but have her stay for longer and then praise. after you feel shes doing really well try walking around a little bit. praise is a big thing but make sure you don't praise till after you come back to her or she will get excited and get up. w/ the whole walking thing...i'm still trying to get my dog to walk nicely on the leash, soo when you figure that out let me know!! haha
