There are only three of us in our family, myself, my 18yr. old son and my 12 yr.old son. Our Westie is good with everyone but the 12yr old. I can't understand why she growls and shows her teeth at him. Sometimes he just sits next to her, or tries to play and she will show this behavior. I am worried when he tries to cuddle her, she will bite him on the face. I am stumped as to why she does this since he is very loving to her. Thanks for any insight or help on this Mochagirl
Thank you for the reply. As far as I know, no one is mean to her, they all seem to really like her. My son does play more rough than the older one, so maybe that's the reason? He has never mistreated her. Mochagirl
Well, she is a little dog, and not really meant for rough housing. Maybe your son doesn't even think he's being rough with her. Tell him to be really gentle with her, because if it was his roughness, he will have to win her back! Terriers are so smart, and they don't forget things easily. Good luck.
