We adopted our adorable little puppy from a rescue group 2 months ago. The foster mother said she was a Weim/Cocker mix. Yesterday, we were told that she might be a Texas Blue Lacy (yes, I know that she isn't blue - they come in other colors too!) She has the same body type, eyes and markings. The woman who told us about the breed said she is probably the "red" variety. She owns one that looks just like Brandy and hers came from a Breeder so she knows what it is. Brandy is currently about 6 months old and weighs 35 pounds. The vet guesses that she will get to about 60 pounds. If anybody is familiar with the Texas Blue Lacy, please take a look at her pictures on Dogster and let me know what you think. Thanks for looking!!
She does resemble a Lacy, but for her eyes. Maybe whatever she is crossed with is the reason for that. What ever she is, she's lovely, and I hope you get lots of enjoyment out of her, and many happy years.
yes she is a blue lacy , wow lucky you , i got one from pet finders and was told she was a cho.lab mix . they were wrong . a man here in rockport texas saw my dog lucy and told me she is also a blue lacy . i just love her , best dog ive ever had. the white paws and chest are common in the breed.
