Whippee! I had the day off from both school and work - that won't happen again until fall break - mid-October. Until then, will wake up every day at least by 6am for either work or school - some days will be as early as 4:30a! I am not a morining person! We did homework, then went out with friends to Texas Roadhouse, then picked up the dogs and went to a playground with a friend and her daughter. Not too much fun for Dora I'm afraid, as she had to stay on a short leash with all the children around. But Albie had a blast. We were naughty and let him off-leash, got a few dirty looks from some waspy-looking women but mostly he was enjoyed by children and adults alike. He enjoys playing on the playground equipment. He will climb to the highest slide, wait for me to sit down, then get on my lap and ride down the slide with me. He is such a kook! He also plays in the tunnels and plays over/under with different pieces of equipment - I need to get this dog in an agility class when I can find the time! We met a 12 week old teeny Chihuahua, and Albie spent a good 1/2 hour playing gently with it. It was very cute. Also played some frisbee. Can't wait until this town gets a real dogpark - one is suppose to open by the end of the year. Sure we will spend all our free time there - what little we have anyway!
