Great Danes

Hi I have two wonderful great danes, they are both 4 years old. Here lately when I let them out they love to play in the tall weeds or grass but when they come back in I notice that they both have these red sores on there legs, it kinda looks like a burn or a blister. Does anyone have any clue to what this may be and what I can do???

First I would take them to an area where there is no long grass, and see if the bumps and sores go away. That way you can definitely say it's something in the long grass..could be insects or some kind of irritating plant. It sounds like ant bites, but without seeing them it's hard to tell. Have you taken them to the vet to see what he thinks?
