Happy upcoming Howl...oween . What is your opinion on dressing your dog up for halloween? I see so many darn cute pictures of costumes, some store bought some homemade. I dressed mine up the last 2 years. He didn't seem to mind although I swear he look a little embarrassed when I tried to take pictures. He loved to go to the door when the trick-or-treaters showed up. They loved his costume.
Does anyone have pictures they would like to share. Please post I would love to see them!
i have dressed up scout as a witch and little max as a pirate for their first halloweens. i would love to share the pics but the school computer i am using denies access to photobucket so i cant post them =(
Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.
I tried to dress Kyra up as a little witch, however, she wasn't taking to the hat. So, we no longer try to get her dressed up. It's kind of a bummer since there are sooo many cute costumes out there for our pets!!

Years ago I sold a male Bullmastiff pup to a family in Alaska, the owner sent me many pictures of him dressed in various costumes. Clyde, Droghedas Guardian Angel, was a biker dude in denim, Robin Hood , Santa Claus, and many other characters over the years. There are pictures of him in many books and articles about Bullmastiffs. He was a very well behaved, social dog but also capable of protecting his loved ones.
I am putting pants, a shirt and a beard on addie. out of the shirt are fake arms. one with a leash around the end of one of the wrists.the leash will be connected to a collar around my neck, and I will be dressed as the dog.
I believe a dog's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment he holds dear, is when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle-with a ball in his mouth."
