I have been trying to find a safe, pain-free, and cheaper than a vet visit way to trim my puppy's nails. I really hate to use the traditional nail clippers and have heard of the nail products that file instead of clip. Has anyone used any of these products and how would you say they compare? Thanks for any suggestions and comments.
I just bought the Pedipaws and it's cheaper than the Pedicure. It seems like it would work well. But Max will have nothing at all to do with it. He left the room completely. You are supposed to introduce it slowly several times before trying to use it but he's having none of that! The cats are a different story. Being as nosy as they are, they sniff at it and touch it with their paws. I think I have a chance with them. But they are easier to clip with regular nail trimmers anyway. I never really thought it would work with Max because he is a nightmare when it comes to his nails. I would try checking with a groomer to do your puppy's nails. Mine is only $4 and my dog is so hard to do. We have a system worked out now where I help and it goes really quick. But I still procrastinate about taking him.
