I just recently add a new member to my home name Na'liyah. She is an 8 week old black and white Siberian husky and is adorable. She is such a curious puppy when it comes to about any and everything.
She does great with walking and running with me around my home but she usually runs without her leash on. She doesn't Care for it to much as most puppies wouldn't. Any suggestions because she's a husky and don't want her taking off on me.
Yeah good luck with that. Huskies are a breed that I'd consider trustworthy off leash. You really need to keep the leash on her and constantly reinforce the 'come' command before letting her off leash, especially in open areas. If you chase her, being off leash becomes a game.
Never trust a tall dwarf... he's lying about something.
that's the thing, she listen while off the leash wonderful. She slows down when I tell her to, if I tell her to stop when a car is in my eye sight she does. I have been using a harnesh but she's still needs to grow into it.
Thanks because I know one day she'll possibly take off. Other than that she's awesome, likes her crate to a certain extent. Potty training is going great, and she's doesn't bite as much as I thought
