She is a Teacup Silky , my problem is potty training, she is 12 weeks old and we got her on nov 4th, anyways she is being really good on not peeing in the house (probably because she is always being watched) we take her food away about 7 or so. We take her potty one last time about midnight and then my boyfriend wakes up at 4 and takes her out, but by then she already pooped in her cage/crate. i know your not supposed to put there nose in it, but how do they learn, she walks around in it and now gets a bath every morning,,, What can I do so she isn't pooping in her crate anymore?
(( I know it takes time to potty train, i'm not expecting over night results, i just need some tips or maybe im doing something wrong? Is there any secrets to know?))

how big is the crate that she sleeps in? It may be that her crate is too big and she has enough room to do her business in one side and sleep in the other. The crate should only be big enough for her to stand up turn around and lay down comfortably. Dogs by nature will typically not soil where they sleep.
The problem may be your feeding schedual. If you free feed her I would stop, give her 2 or 3 small meals. Limit her water, a dog that size shouldn't drink more that 3 cups of water per day. Put her crate by your bed so she can wake you up. When you take her out to potty, pick one area and AS SOON as she begins to go to the bathroom give her a command (such as "go potty"). Only give the command when she is going to the bathroom, not before. Eventually she will get the idea that outside is the bathroom and you can give her the command to que her to pee.
