I live in the STL area. Two days ago a four year old boy disappeared into the state park behind his home. His Chocolate Lab, Daisy, was with him. The boy was missing for ever 7 hours. He played in the creek and took a nap in the leaves. Daisy never left his side. It was freezing out and he was wet up to his waist. A man and his search and rescue GSD found him and brought him home. The boy is fine and says "he loves Daisy"! Thank God for these two dogs.
Does anyone have another amazing dog tale to share?
At the kennel I work at we had a cattle dog mix come in for board and train. Our head trainer taught her how to crawl because she was doing good with all the other commands. A few months after she left we recived an email from her owner telling us a story about how she almost died down in a ravine under a collapsed stack of wood. He couldn't get to her, however he remembered she was taught how to crawl. So he had her lay down and gave her the command and she crawled out to him so he could carry her out.
