Well I have 2 beautiful Bull Terrier puppies, I have a boy and a girl and they are the sweetest dogs ever when they are by themselves....but when they really get into playing with each other they turn aggressive and angry and will lock onto each other and sometimes so bad they tend to make each other bleed. Two major incidents have happened since we got them. They are about 3 months old..and me and my husband have no clue whats wrong...are we doing something wrong?? We dont know what to do anymore! We have recently enrolled them into puppy classes...to socialize and train them....what should we do??? Any help would be greatly appreciated
Bull terrier can be agressive to each other, it isn't uncommon. They usually have great personalities towards people, but can be dog agressive. First thing I would do is have them altered asap. They seperate them when and if they get crazy. The do play rough, but should not be drawing blood. You may have to live with them seperated. I would enroll both of them into obediance asap also. Socialized them alot with other dogs. and people. I love the breed, and we board 2 of them. Both of which can not be around the other dogs.
Your pups should NOT be exhbiting behavior like this...ESPECIALLY at 3 months! This is not normal, nor acceptable, for the breed.
I own two littermates that are now 4 years old and I have been in the breed for thirteen years. Please PM me and let's see what could be the underlying causes...
