We have two cats(Brothers) and have had them since they were three months, straight from the breeder. Can anyone explain why, when one of the is asleep on the carpet, the other one comes and sits on his head and biting his neck until the one asleep starts washing him. They are 18 months old
I have never had British Shorthair littermates, but the tabby littermates my mom had used to do something similar! They just shared a very close bond...They only fought when one would get out the front door and not return for a few hours. When he was finally caught and brought back in the house, the other would razz him!! But they always did things like bathe each other, talk (gurgle), and sleep together until one passed at 15. The other is going strong at 17. If they aren't fighting over this, I would just watch in amazement at their bond!
