There should be a recomendation on the bag of food according to your dogs size. They can vary from food to food. The higher quality food the lesser the amount given. You want the puppy to be in good flesh without being fat. So adjust accordingly for your puppy.
He's your friend, your partner, your defender your dog.You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours faithful and true to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to worthy of such devotion
At 9 months, I was feeding my puppy 1 cup of food per day. I was feeding her 3 meals so 1/3 cup at each meal. I was feeding her puppy food until 1 year then I gave her adult food. I fed her the same amount. But you have to judge by your dog's ideal weight and level of activity. My dog is always on the move so sometimes I even feed her a little more. But if your dog isn't as active, feed it less. I would suggest going by the feeding guide on the bag for a couple of weeks and adjust it depending on her body condition.
In order to really enjoy a dog, one doesn't merely try to train him to be semi human. The point of it is to open oneself to the possibility of becoming partly a dog. ~Edward Hoagland
