I have an 11 year old yorkiepoo. He has been throwing up, pooping and peeing all over the house for the past several months. He was very well trained before this and we never had this issue. The vet hought maybe the dog is depressed from us not being home all day until the evening from work, this is no different than years prior. We decided to try some antidepressants. He was doing ok for the first couple of months and now has regressed back to the same thing. anytime he eats he pukes. always defecating and peeing in the house. He is not neglected by any means. We love him to death and he always has his companion who is a pitbull. They have been raised together and she is not experiencing the same issues. it's gtting frustrating and we are not sure if this is just old age, or something wrong. the vet can't figure it out. please help!
This litttle dog is not really what I would call an elderly dog. I personally would get a second opinion from another vet. In the meantime, I would keep the little guy in an X-pen, or in a gated off area, with his big buddy. I hope you find out what the trouble is, and very soon.Good luck with him.
I agree with Pen2 get an second opinion. I had one vet tell me that my dog was just getting old. I went to another vet, she was instantly diagnosed with Cushing's Disease, which we treated with medication. She got better and lived another 6 happpy and healthy years.
