driving down the road today i saw a car stopped on the side of the road. being the kindhearted person i am i stopped to see if i could help. as i stopped to check on these people they threw this little dog out and took off. i tried to catch them after i picked her up but they got away.i am just wondering why someoen would throw something so innocent out. just wish i could have caught these fools and found out their reasonong for this. she just wants love and to be held we have found out
Good for you for rescuing the poor little dog. I don't know if you are familiar with the breed, but one condition to avoid is hypoglycemia. The dog is so tiny that any large gap between feeding can cause her blood sugar to drop. I would have a small amount of food available at all times, unless she wolfs everything down that you put in front of her..not likely though. Fresh water is also very important for the same reason. Thankyou for rescuing this little dog, and I wish you many happy years with her, she's a lucky girl.
