My English Bull Terrier one year old has a red rash. I'm going to a vet on Thursday but I want some general advice about getting into drugs to fight something which may be better treated by natural means. Doesn't seem to bother her but her little toe joints look red and protrude. Her tummy is slightly pink. Anyway, thanks for reading this.
I am going to 'guess' that it's a yeast infection. It's not uncommon for bullies to get them, and some bullies are prone to sensitive skin/allergies, which causes them to lick their feet, which then creates an environment for yeast, and the pattern continues. Your vet should be able to prescribe treatment with Gold Bond powder, tea tree oil (don't let the dog lick this), or Maleseb spray/pads. Best of luck in getting your bt back to good health, depending on where you live, this could happen again. Happens in the ears, feet, and their 'navel' area most often.
