hi there, i adopted a wheaten over a year ago. she had a severe case of seperation anxiety from her last owners which made her have accidents in the house ALL the time when i would leave whether for an hour or just to get the mail. she has improved immensly from when i got her but i still have a problem with her going in the house at times. it is impossible to keep carpets clean or even her little bed that goes on the balcony which she enjoys alot. i have owned other breeds in the past since i was a kid and have tried everything that i did with those with no luck. she is an amazing, intelligent, and very sweet dog. i just wish that this house breaking would be done with by now any suggestions?? she is almost going to be five.
I know this book works well with puppies but you might want to give it a try. How to Housebreak Your Dog in Seven Days [Paperback] Shirlee Kalstone (Author) We hand these to all the good folks that purchase our puppies. Hope this helps NCTERRIERS.COM, Facebook NCTERRIERS
