I am so very sorry for your tragic loss. I hope it brings you some measure of comfort to know that many of us "out here" truly do sincerely feel your pain & your tremendous sense of loss.
Now that I'm older & people seem to be more "forgiving" of my "indiscretions", I think I'd be inclined to poke those clueless creatures (who dismiss your pain) in the nose - hard - & then say (preferably with a bewildered look on your face), "it's 'just' a nose" (hee, hee).
RIP sweet Peaches...
Dogs have taught me all I need to know about life, love, loyalty, & laughter; & (heartbreakingly), loss & "letting go" of a loved one as well. God bless ‘em…
I am sorry for the loss of precious Peaches. We know all to well the tragic loss of loved ones. Those people that say those comments are cold. They are the ones that are going to go through life empty. The love a pet brings you is unconditional. There is nothing like a wagging tail, a wet kiss, or a purring little one on your feet when you come home from a stressful day. Heck sometimes my kids could care less when I come home..Ha Ha, but my Max is always there to greet me. I am sorry this was said to you. May you get the support you need from those that understand!
People who have never been close to a dog don't understand. I still cry to this day any time I think about my dog Stormy who died about five years ago. She was one of my best friends growing up all through middle school and high school.

Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole. ~Roger Caras
1tsp of bleach to 6 cc of water and use a syringe and shoot it down their throat, and for a big dog 1 tbs of bleach to 10cc of water the same way
I haven't been following this thread closely, but this little tidbit got my attention....
Why would anyone mix the units of volume when giving the directions? That simply doesn't make any sense, and sounds like a recipe for confusion.
Since 1 teaspoon = 5 cc, the "small dog" dosage is about 45% bleach. Since 1 tablespoon = 15 cc, the "big dog" dosage is 60% bleach. Those dosages are not anywhere near consistent, and neither sounds like a weak solution to me.
