HEY I JUST GOT TWO NEW PUPPIES, I GOT THEM WHEN THEY WERE 8 AND 9 WEEKS OLD, THEY ARE ADORABLE BUT THEY PEE AND POOP TOO MUCH SO FAR THEY ARE TRAINED TO GO ON PAPER, BUT I WANT TO BE ABLE TO TAKE THEM OUTSIDE( ON TIME) AS I DID WITH MY OTHER SHIH TZU THAT DIED SO ANY WAY THEY JUST GO AS OFTEN AS SIX TIMES A DAY AND BY THE TIME I TAKE THEM OUT SIDE THEY JUST DON'T DO ANYTHING. BUT GUESS WHAT BY THE TIME WE FINISH THE WALK AND GO UPSTAIRS PUFFF THEY GO.... PLASE HELP ME AND GIVE SOME IDEAS.
You might want to have the vet check the pups first, to make sure there are no health issues.
If the pups are healthy, make sure to monitor the amounts and time of feeding in relation to your trips outdoors.
Puppies have very small bladders and like a human infant, only learn to understand the signals for the urge to go as they grow. The same thing with the bowels. They have to learn to understand the signals and then learn through praise that going outside is the thing to do.
