I really could use some wise advice on how to deal with this.
We (my wife Suz and I) have 4 dogs, 3 boys and 1 girl. The only one who has bad breath is the second oldest (4yo - male labrador/sharpei mix - Chewie). He has had terrible fishy smelling breath since he was about 8months old and nothing we have tried so far has done anything to get rid of it for more than a few minutes. His teeth are bright white and clean, his gums are pink and healthy, and all of our dogs eat exactly the same food and treats. I really can not figure it out, it bothers us because he is a very lovable dog and loves to give people kisses but most people push him away because of his terrible breath. I brush his teeth regularly and give him toys and treats that are supposed to help keep them clean in between brushings but nothing helps. If anyone has advice or experience dealing with this issue please let me know!! Thanks a lot!! CMS
