My son has a female weimaraner that is about 2 years old. He took her to a vet with a problem with her eyes having a large amount of film in them. The vet told him that she was born without tear ducts. He has an ontiment that he has to put in her eyes daily but it doesn't seem to help. Her eyes have so much cold or film over them that she can't see good. She will run into large things when she is running so I know by this that she can't see good. I wanted to see if anyone knew of something that we could do to help her? The stuff in her eye is so thick that we have a hard time trying to wipe it out. I was hoping there would be something else that we could do that would maybe make things better for her.

you need to be referred to an eye specilist in your area. Where the parents CERF tested? This dog could diffenately benefit from a through eye exam, including a CERF test.
