Does anyone know how to help with a nursing mother who has watery bowels i have tryed boiled hamburger meat with rice and no luck ,its been going on for six days now vet says to bring her in so they can see her but finances are not there for that trip. she is eating and drinking but the bowels are messed up still she had 12 puppies on the 7th if anyone can give some advice i would appreciate it so much.

Considering it has been going on for so many days (it can be normal for the 1st day or so after delivery mostly due to eating afterbirths)and that she is also nursing that many pups, she does need vet checked!

She can dehydrate easily with the diarrhea and the stress on her body of nursing.
There are home remedies, but the trouble is, you need to know that CAUSE so that you can treat her and protect those pups. Could be anything from worms to a gastrointestinal infection. At any rate she and the pups should go into the vet.

Money is tough for everyone these days, but the financial responsibility is something you accept as part of breeding your dog.

I agree. A vet visit is certainly in order. Most vets do not charge too much for a check up for mom and pups. She can have a number of problems, including a parasite or bacterial infection. She really needs to be checked for this.
