How can you say you love her so much when you would risk killing her? Go to a vet, have her spayed. don't tell us how much you love your dog, but you are willing to get her pregnant, not have a clue, and YES, she could die becuase of it.
If you really loved her so much you would be a good pet owner and have her spayed.
even though i'm a new member, i know enough to say that your dog CAN die because of this, like everybody said, GET HER SPAYED! would u rather lose puppies that u probably would have had to sell in the end, or lose the dog that is close to you and you've had for a long enough time to have her get pregnant twice. see a vet. also, if you know the dog that got her pregnant, askthe owner to bring him to the vet to see if he has any disease of any sort, and see if its the problem with the puppies she had 1st.
What did you do with the first litter of puppies? What are you planning to do with the upcoming litter? Please give them to someone who will take care of them responsibly. Why would you let her get pregnant again? You may feel people are flaming you but it's kind of like a girl having a baby and then getting pregnant again and wondering how it happened. I really hope you are planning to get her spayed because it doesn't seem you can keep her out of reach of male dogs wben she is in heat. Dogs are not like humans in that, when they're in heat, they don't have the rational thought to choose whether to mate or not, they just do what their instincts tell them. You either spay her or work really hard to keep her away from other dogs while she is in heat. That means not taking her for walks and keeping her inside where dogs can't get at her.
In order to really enjoy a dog, one doesn't merely try to train him to be semi human. The point of it is to open oneself to the possibility of becoming partly a dog. ~Edward Hoagland
