i adopted a pembroke corgi Buster in May, from a local shelter, and he is wonderful in so many ways. when i got him the paper work his former owner filled out said that he will be 2 in september.
i love buster he is so great and i personally think he is wonderful, but im sure im just partial ;-). however, his barking does present a problem. im not a fan of bark collars, so i was hoping i could get some ideas from some people about different ways to get him to stop barking just to bark like he is beginning to do. the main reason why i haven't been really tough on him about barking is because i worry if i break him of it, it might also prevent him from barking to warn me about possible dangers, since i am a female living alone. i realize that corgis are a very smart intelligent and breed, and he is protective when he thinks someone is trying to harm me, which i am grateful for.
but i will quit gabbing, please if anyone has any suggestions let me know, i am open to anything!
