I have an opened bottle of tripsy for dogs for treatment of kidney disease. Unfortunately my 14 year old dog did not benefit from it and the vet said she had an advanced case. The bottle has been in my refrigerator for about 2 weeks. It's almost full and has a refrigerator shelf life of about 6 months. I'd be willing to give it to anyone whose dog has been diagnosed with kidney disease.
Hi Is the Tripsy still available? My dog was just diagnosed last week as being in the last stage of kidney failure. The Hill's diet and meds seem to have helped but I'd like to do more. Any thoughts on why it didn't work for you? I have to admit that after viewing the Tripsy website, I'm a bit skeptical. There are some misrepresentations about the disease which in my opinion makes the rest of what's said a bit suspicious.
I would be more inclined to ask my vet for the medications that you are wanting to use and get his/her opinion on what would be the best thing in your case. I wouldn't use opened medication that was intended for another dog in mine. Too many things can go wrong with "self-medicating" and could end up fatal.
Sorry again and hope all works out for you.
