I visited Toronto Canada for 10 days. Came yesterday evening in the CO airlines . Before the flight I had couple of Vodka with cranberry juice and a beer in the Airport restaurent . I just had a good time
In the plane I was sitting in the middle . In 5 minutes of plane journey I wanted to go to bathroom I could not go because the seat belt sign was there
After 15 minutes the seat belt sign got removed so I went to the bathroom which was located next to pilots cabin The waitress just started serving drinks from seat 1 and she pulled the cart allowed me to use bathroom . After using bathroom when I tried to go to my seat ( 10) she asked me to stay behind her till she finish serving
I told her it does not look right .she could push the cart and allow me to sit and pull back the cart She refused to do one passenger in the plane said the waitress was right
My qustion is should I complain to CO or is it normal
You said yourself you had a good time The flight attendant did not deny you access to the mens room, and did in fact go out of her way once for you to be able to use it once the seat belt sign was off. The gentlemanly thing to do, would have been to stand there politely with a smile, at least pretending to be appreciative and understanding while she served the other passengers for a minute or two. The fact that you said another passenger told you she was right, causes me to believe you caused a scene
I say leave it alone and remember the good time. Next time, visit a rest room before boarding or lose the alcohol all together to avoid your grievances.
Wasn't this part of a Seinfeld episode? The one where Jerry and Elaine are flying together, but he ends up w/ a first class ticket and she's in coach...
Anyways, I always try to be understanding of the flight attendants...they have a pretty tough job--can't even imagine the situations they encounter every day. So I agree, it may have been an inconvenience, but you did the right thing by being patient :)
I do think you did right by being patient and allowing her to serve...however, I believe 15 minutes is extreme. If it were only going to be a minute or two, then ok, but she had to know it would take 15 minutes to finish and should have just allowed you to pass by, JM2CW
