I have a two year old female Alaskan Malamute. She was spayed after her third heat. She has a great temperment around people. Lately, she has become very aggressive with other dogs, particularly little dogs. She treats little dogs like "chew toys". Does anyone have any suggestions on how to remedy this behavior?
If she has not been through an obediance class I would put her through one. You would have more control over her with the training. It would also be a good idea to have her on lead when she is around other dogs so you can manage her around the other dogs and no one gets hurt. Good luck. MLW
malamutes have a very high pray drive . you should have spayed her by 6 months of age and you most likely would have no had this problem. it will take alot of training to get her to stop this.she most likely is like this to small dogs cats and possiable female dogs. this is not aggresion!! this is a malamute.
