I was at Petco today, and I saw this weird kind of food. It comes in what looks like a giant wrapped salami, and I guess you can shred it, or chop it up for your dog. If anyone has ever used this or know whether it's good or bad please let me know. http://www.naturalbalanceinc.com
if its what i think it is (the link didnt work) our trainer used them as treats for puppy class, you can also use it as a mela, or to supplement a meal. our puppy loved them, we only used it as a treat b/c it was a pain kinda- refregerate, only good a few days, etc.
Yes I love them and my dogs do to! I could really tell a difference in my dogs skin and coat! They practically go crazy over it! You don't have to feed very much of it either. I feed it and a dry dog food. I also use it as treats! It is a good training tool to house train pups as well! I definately recommend it!
I use it for training and add it to the dry food for extra flavor. My pup just loves it. I Cut slices off of the roll and freeze them in one container and take a couple slices at a time and chunk it up for treats and grate it to add to the dry food. It will keep a long time frozen. I love it for traveling...not so much to take along. The rolls come in different sizes too.
Absolutely! I've been feeding my dogs (shih-tzu's, maltese's) the Natural Balance rolled food for almost two years. They absolutely love it - especially the turkey and rice. The rest of the neighborhood dogs love it too and always seem to show up around dinner time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend 110%!!
